John's journey into the design world began at the renowned Batley Art College, where he honed his artistic talents and developed a keen eye for aesthetics. His early career saw him crafting compelling campaigns for prestigious brands such as Porsche, Slazenger, Taylors of Harrogate and Foxes Biscuits, leveraging his skills as a Freelance Art Director in leading design agencies across Leeds and Manchester.
In 1997, fueled by a passion for creativity and a desire to make a lasting impact, John embarked on a transformative venture, founding The Design Bank alongside his Father-in-Law, Richard. Since its inception, The Design Bank has flourished under John's visionary leadership, becoming a trusted partner for renowned brands spanning diverse industries.
Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, John has steered The Design Bank to unparalleled success, spearheading groundbreaking initiatives for clients including Virgin Balloon Flights, Longley Farm, M&S, Tesco, Asda, La Liga, BMW, NHS, and Sixth Street, among many others.
Today, as the helm of The Design Bank, John collaborates closely with fellow directors Matt and Lauren, leading a talented team of designers, web developers, and social media specialists. Together, they bring innovative ideas to life, crafting compelling narratives and captivating designs that resonate with audiences worldwide.
